Grammy Award winner and international superstar DJ, Roger Sanchez, will be performing in Belgrade on Saturday 5 June this year. He is one of evergreen DJs and, most certainly, the most popular US’ house titan.
During his 20-years-long career with the record-player, Sanchez has developed a unique pallet of house-sets which range from dark&dirty to funky tunes. He is world-famous, first and foremost, thanks to remixes he did for many musicians, including Jamiroquai, Jennet and Michael Jackson, as well as Dianne Ross, “Soul II Soul” and many others.
''The S-Man'' is the nickname he used as he marked the world-scene as DJ and producer during the 90s. In March 1998, he achieved another unbreakable record with three hits in the same week on Billboards’a Top-25 charts. This week definitely brought him status of famous musician.
In 2003, he won Grammy award for best remix of “No Doubt’s” song “Hella Good.” Following this, Sanchez received yet another recognition at 2004 House Music Awards as the best DJ of the year.
