Jean Michel Jarre in Belgrade
French composer, performer and music producer Jean Michel Jarre will hold a concert on November 8th 2008 at Belgrade Arena. He is regarded as a pioneer in the electronic, as well as organiser of outdoor spectacles of his music which feature lights, laser displays and fireworks. Jarre has sold an estimated 80 million albums and singles.
The beginning og Jarre`s career is marked by Oxigene, a hit which was made in 1970 and only included in his first album in 1976. From then followed true music masterpieces such as Geometry of Love, Aero, Aerozone, Chronology, Fishing junks at Sunset. Read more
Queen and Paul Rogers in Belgrade
The famous British band "Queen", supported by the singer Paul Rogers, will perform on October 29th at the "Belgrade Arena". During their stay in Belgrade, the famous musicians will have six Mercedes limousines at their disposal and members of the band have demanded to have a doctor available at all times.
The popular rockers did not demand much from the local promoters, so they booked a hotel by themselves. They wanted to have comfortable armchairs in rooms, pleasant atmosphere and a big mirror. During their stay in the Serbian capital, members of the band will have their own catering, while promoter is obliged to provide them with money for food catering according to their wishes. Read more
Alicia Keys in Belgrade
Alicia Keys, an American R&B, soul, and neo soul singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress, will hold a concert in Belgrade (Serbia) on 11th October 2008. Keys has sold over thirty million albums worldwide and has won numerous awards, including eleven Grammy Awards, seventeen Billboard Music Awards, and three American Music Awards. She is often called the "Princess of Soul".
One of the few artists who can capture an old-school vibe and make if feel refreshingly new, Alicia tackles this feat once again with an album she describes as "Janis Joplin meets Aretha Franklin." Read more
Antonis Remos in Belgrade
Antonis Remos, one of the greatest Greek music stars, will perform for the first time in Belgrade at the "Sava center". Serbian audience has already had a chance to hear his great hits, since our numerous singers have recorded numerous arrangements of his songs. Many Serbian athletes and trainers living and working in Greece are big fans of Remos.
After Jorgos Dalaras, Antonis Remos is the second Greek singer who has decided to visit Belgrade and this will be his first time to sing for the audience that is not Greek. Remos was born on June 20, 1970 in a German city Dusseldorf, but his family soon moved to Greece. Read more
Kelis in Belgrade
This year’s Tuborg Green Beat takes place on August 29 and 30 on Partizan basketaball courts at Kalemegdan Fortress. The musicians performing at the festival will be the singer Kelis, "Asian Dub Foundation", Goldie, Sandy Rivera, DJ Sasha, Satoshi Tomiie, Steve Lawler and many others.
