The famous British musician Chris Rea will play in Belgrade on his European tour which begins on 1st January 2010. He will perform at the Sava Center on the 5th of February.
Thanks to his numerous high-quality songs, Chris Rea has sold over 30 million copies and was nominated for the "Grammy" award. During his long career which lasts for almost three decades, he has maintained a special music style easily recognizable worldwide. His first album "Whatever happened to Benny Santini?" was released in 1978 and his first single "Fool (if You Think It’s Over)" gained an incredible success. Chris has released over 20 albums. In spite of his health problems that he had during his career, he managed to remain musically active. Two years ago he released the box set "Blue Guitars" consisting of 11 CDs and 1 DVD, the edition which represents the special dedication to the blues music, his first love.
However, the secret of his success in the world of music is definitively the fact that he is an extraordinary composer, guitarist and singer. The audience will be able to enjoy his live performance in "Sava Center".
