British musician Bryan Ferry, founder of the Roxy Music band, will play for the first time in Serbia on September 20th. The 65-year old Ferry, known for songs like "Avalon", "Slave to Love", "More than this" "Don't Stop the Dance", will perform in Belgrade Arena.
Ferry was considered one of the biggest music stars in the 1970s and 1980s, with dozens of hit singles both with the Roxy Music band and as part of his solo career.
Roxy Music's first album was released in 1972 and was an immediate success in the United Kingdom. By 1982 the band had recorded eight studio albums, which included the hit singles "Street Life", "Love is the Drug", "Avalon" and "Casanova".
In the meantime, Ferry launched a very successful solo career, recording several songs with the band members. He reached the top of global charts thanks to successful cover versions to songs like John Lennon's "Jealous Guy" and the original "Slave to Love" ballad, which became a huge hit.
In October 2010 he released his latest album, "Olympia", together with former Roxy Music band members and British musician Dave Stewart.
