Antonis Remos in Belgrade

Antonis Remos in BelgradeAntonis Remos, one of the greatest Greek music stars, will perform for the first time in Belgrade at the "Sava center". Serbian audience has already had a chance to hear his great hits, since our numerous singers have recorded numerous arrangements of his songs. Many Serbian athletes and trainers living and working in Greece are big fans of Remos.

After Jorgos Dalaras, Antonis Remos is the second Greek singer who has decided to visit Belgrade and this will be his first time to sing for the audience that is not Greek. Remos was born on June 20, 1970 in a German city Dusseldorf, but his family soon moved to Greece. He started his music career in 1996 when his first CD “Antonis Remos” was sold out in a short time and went platinum. Since then, Remos has been considered to be one of the greatest musicians of the Greek music scene. The peak of his career was in 2003, when Adonis and five other artists organized tour in Greece which included 45 concerts in 45 days.

His two albums “Kardia Mou Min Anisiheis“ from 2002 and “Mia Anaponi“ overcame all expectations of the publisher “Sony Bmg“, because each sold three million copies. The song “Kardia mou min anisiheis“ from 2002 became a great hit on many Serbian radio stations. In early 2008 he released his CD “Marinela“, and besides the songs from it, the audience will have a chance to hear some hits from his new CD which will be released in late September. Last spring Remos spent on a big tour in America and Australia accompanied by his colleague Sakis Rouvas, who won the third place at the Eurovision in 2004.

Being a great supporter and devotee of football, in his free time Remos is the president of the FC Iraklis. Source: Blic
